Storing your trim properly and in the best environment will help you when it comes time for installation. Use these tips to help you achieve the best results for optimum contact and less failure.

Tip 1

Never expose trim adhesive to direct sunlight. Store trim inside the box, safe from damaging UV rays.

TrimQuick’s SIS adhesive liner offers UV protection for up to 14 days.  Always avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Tip 2

Store all profiles flat or standing on end inside a rigid container to maintain straightness.

Tip 3

Never store your trim in weather that is over 120 degrees fahrenheit.  

Extremely hot conditions can compromise the strength of the adhesive causing cupping and trim failure.
